tons of foooood!

These are just samples of the variety of foods prepared by Mandarin Catering Services for the Mercado family in celebration of Roxanne's graduation from school. Roxanne as you will remember in the earlier blog, did not merely graduate from high school but did so with high honors. (read previous blog). And for congratulating and sharing the family's moments of joy, this is what we were treated to....

Roxanne is really deserving for having a graduation party/celebration like that, because of her honors , awards that she got and the opportunity to go in Washington for representing the Philippines as one of the Ambassadors of Goodwill. Her parents are very lucky/blessed to have a daughter like her.As she got already a lot of achievements, at a very young age.Im(were) very proud of you Roxanne.Godbless.Hope to see you soon posted here again for another achievements.

Roxanne truly blessed. She is lucky for such gifts given to her. Not so many teenagers these days are so concerned with academics. So keep it up.

Mandarin catering, i heard that they have "good food". I never really tasted their food or maybe i did, maybe i wasnt aware that they catered these particular party i attended, for the fact that once im in a party I seldom ask,"what catering services did you hire?" all i can think is "wow, the food is lovely! hmmm..." and ofcourse the after party. LOL..

To make a good food, it must be of great palatability. The taste is the most important, it should not only be tasty but also nutritous. The texture of the food must be in variety. Not all hard or soft... The smell or aroma of the food is also a great factor, it can make your mouth wet or cant wait to take a bite. The appearance is also another factor to consider, no matter how delicious it is if it doesnt look good (e.g its yucky) then it is seldom eaten.
A good food must also be safe. It is prepared properly, sanitary requirements are met. We cannot see what's going on in the kitchen of a catering services but i hope they abide with the Law (for the clealiness in the food prep. area) and for their moral responsibility to their customers, that they will not be sick if they are going to eat the food being served.
I think their are no complaints against Mandarin catering, so Keep it up...

Hi Roxanne! Congratulations! I dont know hu u r, yet what u hav just achieve s divine!

well, the pictures of the food by Mandarin Restaurant was sumptous...im sure ur guests really had a hard time shining their plate...LOL! :> if i was one of them, ill binge!

Anyways, as an HRM student, we were able to learn that food presentation is an essential factor of capturing ur guests' attention as well as their appetite! Color, texture variation, shapes and neatness are some of the things to remember during food presentation. That is why, as early as our sophomore year in this course, we were already aware of the dos and donts when serving the food especially in special occasions like Roxanne's!

Mr and Mrs. Mercado is very lucky to have a daughter like Roxanne.. Roxanne is one of my costumers in Le Chanre boutique.. she's quite shy but knowing that she's intelligent, I would congratulate her for doing the best for her parents,to God and to the society soon..She deserves a big PARTY!!!!!

I was attracted to the food catered by the mandarin caterers.. when we have parties like birthdays we always like mandarin to cater...
